Vidhyalakshmi Karthikeyan

I share my life with a rescued trio of a lurcher, Beanie, and two cats, Moo and Oonsipie. My experience lies in working with fearful dogs and cats, starting with my own and also with dogs awaiting homes at my local RSPCA.


I am passionate about turning existing studies on dog and cat cognition into accessible and innovative concept training games for owners to teach and explore with their companion animals in the comfort of their lounge. I also specialise in husbandry training for use at home and at the veterinary clinic, empowering my animals to willingly participate in their care.


I am very active in the online community. I am one of the admins of the popular Dog Training Advice and Support Group on Facebook, working alongside behaviourists in answering individual training questions from owners. I also run a Facebook page called The Unlikely Tricksters, showcasing the breadth of what is possible with all the learners I work with using only positive and ethical training methods.
