Levels help you decide if you have required prerequisites to fully enjoy the course and they also tell you what skills are covered in the courses!

  • Level 1 courses: 
    You don’t need any skills, previous experience, or knowledge to take a course at this level.
Skills covered on level 1:
  • Basic learning & training theories and mechanics (also application of).
  • Foundation behaviors
  • Forms of communication
  • Introduction to how dogs learn
  • Introduction to canine body language

  • Level 2 courses:
On this level, we assume you have skills and knowledge covered in level 1. In these courses, we won’t repeat what can be found in courses in level 1. Level 1 skills are prerequisites for students who want to take courses from level 2. Of course, this is not obligatory but if you think you may lack a skill from level 1, we advise taking a course that covers it. Level 2 prepare/ our learners to be ready for courses found on level 3.

  • Level 3 courses
On this level, we assume you have skills covered in levels 1 and 2. In these courses, we won’t repeat what can be found in classes from level 1 and 2. Skills from level 1 and 2 are prerequisites for students who want to take courses from level 3. Of course, this is not obligatory but if you think you may lack a skill from level 1 or 2, we advise you to take a course that covers it.

B. What course I should choose first?

„If this is your first time in TROMPLO, and you are thinking about what course is best for you to start with, let me help you with your choice. Our training philosophy is based on the animal’s choice, the science of learning, and the trainer’s skills. Those are core areas on which we want to focus when we start because they are the foundation of any advanced training you may wish to do in the future. Our goal is to help you become the best trainer for your dog. We believe that if we start with teaching those basics, then the sky is the limit! For all newcomers we recommend starting with courses from Level 1.

2. How it all works?

All courses last 6 weeks.
The Auditor Level features:

  • 24/7 access to course materials including lectures, video tutorials and homework
  • Access to view Premium members’ threads
  • Certificate of Attendance
  • Lifetime access to course materials

The Premium Level features:

  • 24/7 access to course materials including lectures, video tutorials and homework
  • You can submit 12 minutes of videos for instructor evaluation each week
  • Personalized feedback from the course instructor
  • Unlimited access to the instructor
  • Access to other Premium members’ threads
  • Access to TROMPLO: Students group on Facebook
  • Certificate of Attendance
  • Lifetime access to course materials
3. How do I register for a course?

Click on the course you wish to enroll in. Select the Premium (access to all lectures and personalized video review) or Auditor option (access to all
lectures, no video review). During the registration process, you will create an account, with a username and password you will use at TROPMLO. The
following video will guide you through the process of registering and creating a TROMPLO account:

courses run in six week format. Registration is open through the first two weeks of course. If you join late you will still finish the course after six weeks from when it started officially, not from the day you have joined.

4. When can I register?

Courses start each month. You will be able to register for two after each course starts.

5. What are the payment methods

6. How do I access my course after registering?

Please click on the “My Courses” button on the menu on the top of the page.

7. I haven’t received registration email. What should I do?

Please check your junk mail. If you won’t find it there, contact us [email protected] or pm via Facebook

8. What equipment I need to start the course as a Premium participant?
  • Camera (your phone camera is sufficient)
  • Tripod to stabilize your camera
  • Computer with internet access
  • Any additional equipment listed in the course description
9. Can I upgrade to Premium after buying Auditor Spot?

Yes, while registration for the course is open and Premium spots are available. Go to the main page of the course to upgrade.

10. Can I share a course with a friend?

No, you may not share a course with a friend as that is a violation of our rules. When you buy a course you buy access to it just for yourself.

11. What happens if there are no Premium participants?

The course runs just for auditors.

12. What should I do if my instructor has not responded within one day?

Please contact us [email protected] and we will check what has happened.

13. How many Premium participants can take part in the course?

The instructors decide. The number varies from 4 to 15.

14. Can I work with an animal different other than a dog?

Of course! All animals, all species are welcomed!

15. Can I work with more than one animal?

The majority of courses are limited to one team: one handler and one animal. Any exceptions will always be mentioned in the course description.

16. How do I add videos? (For Premium Level Participants)

If you have a Premium spot, that means that you get to submit up to 12 minutes of total video per week for discussion and review.

  • You need to have a YouTube account.
  • Once you post a video, please wait for your instructor to respond before posting the next one.

17. What happens after the course is finished?
  • if you are a Premium participant all the materials will be stored in “My Account” section under “My Courses” as an archived course. This includes lectures and your threads.
  • if you are an Auditor participant all lectures will be stored in “My Account” section under “My Courses” as an archived course.
18. How do I see prices in my country’s currency??

At the top right corner of the page, there is a button where you can change the currency displayed. You can also change the currency displayed once a course is in your basket.

19. How often will Premium users get feedback from the instructor?

Daily, and once a week each tutor may take a day off.
